Orenco's AdvanTex AX20 is the first residential advanced wastewater treatment system to pass Pennsylvania's rigorous, multi-year field-test protocol by an ANSI-accredited third-party testing agency.
Nine AX20s were tested for 2-3 years; two were tested for one year. More than 3500 sample analyses were performed.
Results? CBOD5 averaged 6 mg/L; TSS averaged 10 mg/L; and TN averaged 17 mg/L -- a TN reduction of 68%. Follow the link below for more information.
OSI Designer Update
The Advantex system uses a textile packed bed filter (PBF) treatment process to purify wastewater. Advantex is one of several advanced wastewater treatment technologies that ETC has used for projects in the Maritime provinces. In the spring of 2008 ETC commissioned a 10 module AX100 system for the Community of Victoria, PE, Canada.
